RISKGOVEU AT EU GRANT PROJECT PREPARATION

On March 10–11, 2026, a comprehensive two-day training seminar titled "Preparing Projects for European Union Grant Competitions" was successfully held at the Tashkent State University of Law. Co-organized by the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Uzbekistan and TSUL, the event brought together representatives of higher education institutions, researchers, and specialists eager to engage in EU education and research grant programs.

Sharing Real-World Success: The RiskGovEU Presentation

A major highlight of the event was the opportunity to share practical insights from active, successful EU initiatives. During the training, Assoc. Prof. Umid Kulijanov, Project Coordinator, presented the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module "Strengthening Disaster Risk Governance Through EU Law (RiskGovEU)."

By showcasing RiskGovEU as a live case study, the presentation provided attendees with concrete examples of how to structure a winning proposal, align local needs with European standards, and effectively manage project implementation. It also emphasized the strategic importance of building disaster resilience through legal frameworks, sparking great interest among future grant applicants.

Events like these are vital for building academic capacity across Uzbekistan, and the RiskGovEU team is proud to contribute to the growing community of European project innovators!
