THE PROJECT FEATURED AT NATIONAL ERASMUS+ STRATEGIC MEETING
On April 3, 2026, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a traditional strategic meeting dedicated to the launch and implementation of Erasmus+ projects selected in the 2025 call.
Organized in collaboration with the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) and the Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs) team, the event gathered key national stakeholders, government officials, and academic experts.
During this high-level event, our Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module, "Strengthening Disaster Risk Governance Through EU Law" (RiskGovEU), was officially presented.
Strategic Discussions and Project Alignment
The meeting provided an essential platform to discuss the core objectives, expected outcomes, and upcoming milestones of the RiskGovEU project. The dialogue focused heavily on ensuring the project’s successful integration and long-term sustainability.
Key areas of focus included:
- Effective Implementation: Outlining clear mechanisms for executing the module's educational and research goals.
- Institutional Cooperation: Strategies for strengthening collaboration between state organizations and higher education institutions, which is a critical factor for advancing disaster risk governance and public safety policies.
- Visibility and Support: Comprehensive approaches to the dissemination of project results and securing practical, ongoing support from national authorities.
This meeting serves as a powerful catalyst for the RiskGovEU project, laying a strong foundation for its successful execution. By aligning our academic initiatives with national priorities and European legal standards, we are taking a major step toward building robust disaster resilience across the region.
